Create and maintain the pharmacy department schedule.Manage the schedule by posting shifts, providing recommendations for shift changes, and finding coverage for missing shifts.Coordinate payroll reconciliation, enter schedule occurrences, and enter other schedule notes in the timekeeping system.Interview all incoming pharmacy technician staff with Pharmacy department management.Develop and maintain formalized training/orientation program.Assist in staff evaluation during onboarding, probationary period, and throughout the year.Perform the duties of a Pharmacy Technician and other duties as required.May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.Pharmacy Technician licensure by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within one (1) year as a condition of continued employment in this job classification.One (1) year of pharmacy experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSTrainer experience.Scheduling experience.Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation.
